Jason has over 30 years of experience in the physical and paper oil markets. He holds a Master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird, USA. He began his career in the energy markets with Unipec Hong Kong in 1996 and also established Kangqi Oil in London in the late 90s. He founded Cathay Petroleum in 2003 to leverage his extensive oil industry knowledge and the significant increase in trading volumes to meet China's growing energy needs. With disciplined trading principles, deep market insight, and a global network, he has led Cathay’s expansion over the past 20 years.

With over 30 years of experience in oil trading and corporate leadership, Han Dong has held senior positions across multiple international energy trading firms. He possesses deep expertise in the global crude and refined-products markets and now leads Cathay Petroleum’s overall strategic planning and operational management, driving its continued international expansion. Before joining Cathay Petroleum, Han Dong worked at Sinopec (Beijing), Kangqi Oil (London), Arcadia (London & Singapore) and later at Glencore (Singapore), where he served as Head of Crude Oil for Asia.

Eugene has close to 20 years of international banking and commodities experience, offering extensive knowledge in structured and trade finance, capital management, corporate financing and governance. He is responsible for Cathay Petroleum’s financial strategy, capital structure optimisation and credit risk, supporting sustainable growth. Prior to joining Cathay Petroleum, Eugene spent 17 years with ABN AMRO, with the latest position being Head of Trade & Commodity Finance APAC and Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Branch.
